Richard Harry Marriner was posted to Salonika with the 129th Brigade RFA in 1916 where he subsequently contracted
malaria in January 1917. He was admitted to the Imtarfa Military Hospital on Malta in March 1917 and is pictured above
(second row, 6th from right) dressed in 'hospital blues'.
